What the site offers
A 3D cube you can turn, a solver for the 3x3 cube, a timer with statistics, a notation trainer and written guides, all free of charge and usable without an account. Features may change, be added or be removed at any time.
Fair use
- Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Linking to any page is welcome.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale or republish its text or images as your own.
- Do not present the site as connected with any cube manufacturer or competition body; it is not.
Player accounts and the leaderboard
- One account per person. Choose a name that is not offensive and does not impersonate someone else; we may rename or remove accounts that do.
- Keep your password to yourself. There is no email on file, so a lost password can only be reset by hand through the contact page.
- Posted solves are verified by replaying your moves; times are measured in your browser. Posting manipulated times, scripted solves or anything not solved by you on the 3D cube is not allowed and leads to removal.
- Leaderboard places are a score, not a reward. They cannot be exchanged for anything and may be reset if the ranking rules change.
- We may delete inactive accounts after two years without notice.
Accuracy
The solver and the algorithms in the guides are tested against the site's own cube engine. Even so, a mistyped sticker will produce a solution for a different cube, and we cannot guarantee any particular result on a physical puzzle. Follow the moves carefully and use the step-back control if you lose your place.
Open-source credits
The two-phase solving library used by the app is cubejs, released under the MIT licence. Its copyright notice is included in the application files as that licence requires. The cube model, 3D view, timer, trainer and all text and images on this site are the work of 6E Cube Game.
Trademarks
“6E Cube Game” and the isometric cube mark are ours. The puzzle itself is referred to generically as the 3x3 cube; names of specific puzzle products belong to their respective owners and are not used on this site.
Limits of responsibility
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or inability to use it, including lost solve times when browser data is cleared.
